When Thomas Weiser came up with the idea of INNO TAPE in 2000, he had a clear vision: to be a specialist in the further processing of adhesive tape!

Even back then there were converters - and some pretty good ones at that. But they were all connected somewhere. They were part of a trading company or an adhesive tape manufacturer, no one was solely responsible for converting. It was clear to him: there must be something else!

The idea was there, the motivation was huge, but the biggest challenge was already looming: Finding the money. The problem: nobody understood what he was up to. But as luck would have it, Thomas Weiser was able to convince his friend Matthias Ronge of the idea! He wanted to invest and, in addition to his own production building, he also had a hall available - in Alfeld.

Today, INNO TAPE has more than 140 employees, the office space is 20 times larger and the production area almost 10 times larger than at the beginning. Thomas is proud of what has been created here in Alfeld. However, he takes himself very much back in this development.

"I am the founder and am certainly the driver. I also enjoy doing that very much, but I personally am not that important. The company is important and especially the people who work in these companies – that`s what`s important to me, that`s what makes it so valuable. The people here make it what it is: authentic and, above all, unique.

Today, he is still fascinated and motivated by the growing possibilities of adhesive tape, but one decisive factor has been added.

"For me, it`s like this: I`m incredibly proud to be able to lead this team and witness the passion and, above all, the attention to detail with which people work here and the team develops. Being able to witness this and ultimately help shape it has become my greatest motivation. I am very grateful for this and I am sure that we still have an exciting road ahead of us. Because even today I would say: "There`s still a lot more to do!
