Myth: Gluing is botched work

"Gluing is botching" –
The myth debunked

Is adhesive tape really a botched job?

Did you know that adhesive tape is used in every car? – No, not just on the outside to hold the essentials together, but planned and cut to size with precision. The adhesive tape is used long before any damage occurs. It is used during the construction phase at all possible application points, whether interior or exterior.

The myth that ‘using adhesive tape on a car is a botched job’ nevertheless persists. It is simply a prejudice!
We hear it time and time again when we talk about how using adhesive tape could be the best solution. This is often due to the outdated idea that adhesive tape is only good for repairing something (more poorly than well) or for securing something temporarily.

Unfortunately, durability and stability are still too rarely characteristics that come to mind when most people think of adhesive tape.

But that's exactly what you can achieve with industrial adhesive tape!

Just a short-term solution?

Let's dispel some preconceptions:

The idea that adhesive tape is only good for repairs is no longer the case.
Adhesive tape can do so much more!

It's like a little secret weapon.

Why? Well, apart from simply gluing, fastening or joining,
it performs many other functions. Whether damping, sealing,
conducting electricity/heat or insulating.

It can withstand enormous forces as well as high and low temperatures,
is also ideal for long-term use, and is invisible and lightweight to boot.

Many things are possible

  • connect and fasten
  • seal, dampen and
  • compensate
  • conduct electricity/heat
  • or insulate
  • and protect

Get the most out of your adhesive tape

If the material is then professionally adapted to your application, you really get the most out of it. We are happy to take care of that for you.

What is possible?
